TSS Requirements
2026 SUBMISSION
TSS 2026-27 OCEAN RFP — SERVICE, DATA & PROCESS REQUIREMENTS
01 SIMPLIFIED AND ACCURATE INVOICING PROCESSES

OWL is committed to providing clear, simplified invoicing that minimizes complexity and reduces the potential for errors. Our invoicing process is managed through our CargoWise operational platform, which ensures that all charges are accurately captured at the point of service and consolidated into a single, transparent invoice per shipment. We offer flexible invoicing formats that can be tailored to your internal accounting structure, including itemized breakdowns by shipment, container, PO, or cost center. Our operations team conducts a pre-billing quality check on every invoice prior to release, ensuring accuracy before it reaches your team. We also have the ability to automate your invoicing by sending invoices as an EDI 310 message as we do for several of our other customers.

02 CLEAR, STRUCTURED FINANCIAL DATA

Through OWL Vision and our integrated Power BI reporting platform, we provide structured financial data that is designed for easy analysis and decision-making. Our reporting capabilities include customizable cost breakdowns by trade lane, origin, carrier, container type, and time period. Reports can be delivered on a scheduled basis (daily, weekly, monthly) or generated on demand through the OWL Vision portal through query access or PBI Customized Reporting. All data is exportable in standard formats (Excel, CSV) for seamless integration into your internal financial systems and analysis tools.

03 HIGH-QUALITY, CUSTOMIZABLE TRACKING DATA AND PORTAL ACCESS

OWL Vision is our proprietary web portal providing end-to-end supply chain visibility from PO issuance through empty container return. TSS will have direct access to track and query specific orders, SKUs, containers, and shipments in real time. The platform provides comprehensive visibility that goes beyond basic shipment tracking — offering container-level, PO-level, and item-level detail. We offer a variety of standard, exception, and fully customized reports that can be delivered on schedule or accessed on demand. The built-in Power BI integration enables advanced analytics and customized dashboard views tailored to TSS' specific operational priorities.

04 AUTOMATION CAPABILITY (INVOICING, ETA UPDATES)

OWL leverages its technology stack — including CargoWise, OWL Vision, and our Chain.io iPaaS integration platform — to automate key transactional processes and reduce manual touchpoints wherever possible. Specifically for TSS, we can deliver: automated ETA updates and changes based on TSS set tolerances pushed directly to your team and/or OWL Vision portal as carrier data is received; automated invoicing generated from operational milestones within CargoWise, reducing manual entry and accelerating billing cycles; EDI connectivity for automated data exchange including booking confirmations, shipping instructions, and milestone updates; and automated exception alerts triggered when shipments deviate from plan (delays, rolls, routing changes), enabling proactive rather than reactive management.

TSS 2026-27 OCEAN RFP — SERVICE, DATA & PROCESS REQUIREMENTS
05 STRONGER INTEGRATION OF LAST FREE DAY (LFD) MILESTONES

OWL recognizes that Last Free Day management is critical to controlling per diem costs and maintaining efficient container flow. We are committed to embedding LFD milestones as a core element of our tracking, reporting, and operational decision-making for TSS. Our approach includes: LFD dates prominently displayed within OWL Vision for all active containers at destination; automated alerts triggered at defined intervals prior to LFD (e.g., 3 days, 1 day) to prompt action; daily operational reports highlighting containers approaching or at risk of exceeding LFD; integration of LFD data into our Scorecard and QBR reporting to track per diem performance over time; and proactive coordination with truckers and warehouses to prioritize pickups based on LFD urgency.

06 DEDICATED OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

OWL will assign Giovanna Tohalino as the dedicated operations representative to the TSS account, providing a single point of contact for all day-to-day operational matters. This individual will be deeply familiar with TSS' specific requirements, routing preferences, vendor relationships, and internal processes. In addition to your primary representative, OWL provides a fully cross-trained backup to ensure continuity of service during any absence. Both individuals will be supported by the broader OWL operations team and supervised by our USA Operations Director, Josh Fischer.

07 CONSISTENT DAILY COMMUNICATION AND PROACTIVE UPDATES

Proactive communication is a cornerstone of OWL's service model. We believe that our customers should never have to chase us for updates — they should already have the information they need. For TSS, our daily communication cadence can include: a morning shipment status update covering all active bookings, vessels in transit, and containers at destination; proactive alerts for any exceptions, delays, rolls, or deviations from plan; immediate notification of any issues requiring TSS action or decision; and regular check-ins with your dedicated ops rep to discuss upcoming volumes, potential issues, and operational priorities. All communications are documented within OWL Vision, providing a complete audit trail and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

08 PROPOSED TARIFF-MITIGATION SOLUTIONS

In the current trade environment, tariff mitigation is a top priority for importers. OWL is uniquely positioned to support TSS with a range of strategies to help manage and reduce tariff exposure. Our tariff-mitigation capabilities include: alternative sourcing country routing to leverage trade agreements and lower duty rates; first sale valuation support including conversion of terms to Ex Works where applicable; foreign trade zone (FTZ) utilization strategies; tariff classification review and optimization through our licensed customs brokers; duty drawback program facilitation through our partner Alliance Drawback Services; and ongoing monitoring of trade policy changes with proactive alerts when new tariffs or exclusions impact your product categories. Additionally, our global office network in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Indochina positions us to support TSS if diversification of sourcing origins becomes part of your strategy.

2026 SUBMISSION
TSS 2026-27 OCEAN RFP — SERVICE, DATA & PROCESS REQUIREMENTS
09 EXPANDED VISIBILITY INTO DELIVERED CONTAINERS

OWL understands the importance of managing delivered container costs and maximizing operational efficiency post-delivery. We are committed to providing TSS with enhanced visibility into the full container lifecycle at destination, including per diem tracking and empty-swap coordination. Our capabilities include: real-time tracking of per diem incurred vs. upcoming per diem exposure for all delivered containers; daily reporting on container status post-delivery (at DC, empty available, empty picked up, empty returned, etc.); identification and coordination of empty-swap opportunities where available, helping to reduce per diem and drayage costs; and integration of per diem data into QBR reporting for trend analysis and cost optimization.

10 ADDITIONAL VALUE-ADDED SERVICES

Beyond our core forwarding and logistics services, OWL offers a range of value-added programs and capabilities that could benefit TSS' supply chain. These include: our Gain Share program, which splits savings with customers when market rates drop below your contracted fixed rate; Guaranteed Space allocation ensuring priority container movement even in tight markets; Volume Incentive Discount (VID) rewarding volume commitments; Index-Linked Pricing that dynamically adjusts to market conditions; and our comprehensive Scorecard reporting platform for vendor, carrier, and partner performance management.

11 CUSTOMS BROKERAGE SERVICES

Yes — OWL offers comprehensive customs brokerage services through our licensed customs brokerage operation. Our licensed customs brokers and customs compliance experts provide a full range of services including: Entry filing and customs clearance through our Cargowise system (directly linked to CBP); classification advisory and HTS review; compliance consulting and binding rulings research; bond management and monitoring; ISF filing; PGA coordination (FDA, USDA, etc.); ACH importer setup and PMS monthly statement assistance; and drawback filing support through our partner Alliance Drawback Services. By utilizing OWL for OMS, freight forwarding/ocean freight and customs brokerage, TSS benefits from a fully integrated supply chain — with a single point of accountability from origin to final delivery, and seamless data flow between transportation and customs processes.

12 TRANSIT TIME EXPECTATIONS AND BOOKING SLA

OWL is committed to providing reliable transit times and efficient booking processes. We monitor carrier performance continuously and provide full transparency on transit time data through OWL Vision and our QBR reporting. For booking efficiency, OWL proposes the following SLA framework for TSS: Our team will submit the carrier booking and secure booking confirmation from chosen carriers within 48 hours from receiving the booking from your OMS provider or vendor. Transit time performance is tracked as a standard KPI within our QBR framework, measured against carrier-stated transit times, and reported alongside on-time delivery metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
